Tech of the Month: Meet Liz

Introducing Liz from @highprofilebrows. We are absolutely obsessed with her microblading! Building on her work with lip blush and ombre brows, Liz smashes her work every single time. Find out more about Liz in her Q and A below.

When did you first enter the beauty industry?

I’ve been in the industry since 2011 but I first qualified in Semi-permanent makeup in the summer of 2017 so 5 an amazing years now 😍

Why did you decide to train in SPMU?

I decided to train in SPMU when I saw an article on ‘cosmetic tattooing’ and I was obsessed. My infatuation with semi permanent make up grew from there. Once I had trained, I spent shadow days with techs around the UK to learn more and more!

What is your favourite procedure to perform?

My favourite procedure to perform is Microblading. Microblading is my one true love, it’s what I learnt first and spent time mastering it. Even though it’s not for all skin types, it is the most delicate and I love being able to be creative with it.

Where do you see yourself in five years time?

In 5 years time my aim is to become a trainer and continuing doing what I love everyday. I absolutely love doing my masterclasses, helping & watching people strive for the job they’re passionate about.

What is your signature technique called?

My signature technique has to be microblading. I don’t have a branded name for it but I always get asked for the natural fluffy and intricate brows that I’m best at and known for!
