Tell us a little about yourself and how you got into the beauty industry
I had a difficult start to my journey, I grew up in a care home with slim to no support in the background. I knew I wanted more for myself, and my life to change the stereotype of a child in care. I had to move into my own flat at 18, so I need to work a full time job 9-5 to fund this. Subsequently, I then took a job in law firm as a secretary, this kept a roof over my head, but was never fulfilling me. I’d always been super creative and arty, so I started attending courses on the side in brows, lashes & SPMU. I’d work every evening and weekend possible from the age of 19, building up my clients, and this is where I really found my happiness. At 20, I was able to go full time self employed and open my first salon 7 months later.
Why did you decide to train in SPMU?
I’d always had a passion for brows as a HD artist, and the idea of being able to truly transform someone’s face with such an intricate and skilled technique caught my attention. Something which may seem so small to some, is so big to others. It’s transformative and life changing. Once I began, I fell in love with it instantly. Ombré lip blush then followed for me, and I haven’t looked back since!
What’s your favourite procedure to perform and why?

This is a tricky one! As much as Ombré lip blush has become one of my most popular treatments now, brows will always hold my heart. I find such creative flow in each client being Individual, every face is a new challenge and it drives me to perfection for their reaction.
What is your favourite part of your job?
Getting to see all my wonderful clients daily, I’ll never have enough gratitude for how much they all mean to me. They’ve allowed my dreams to become reality, they fill my diary months ahead and simply none of this would be possible without them.
What’s been your proudest moment of your career so far?
A year ago I was able to open my first ever high street salon, in a town location I’d always had on my vision board to be in a position to afford. I’ve got the most incredible, beautiful talented team by my side, and I’m currently an ABT accredited trainer launching my training academy for SPMU.

What is your favourite Cosmedic Supplies product?
This is super tricky because I love them all! I’m still loyal to my Pro Pad, I love also the pink collection 0.20 1RL needles for that SUPER crisp outline and shading.

Still doing what I love, learning even more because I always believe you can always learn something from someone! And have my academy successfully helping future SPMU achieve their dreams!
